Phoebus: luxury sailboat for Mykonos cruises
& daytrips reconstructed 1998
(length: 21,60m, passengers: 80 max.)

The Phoebus was 'born' in Mykonos, 1998; the inspiration and handwork of Zannis Koukas.
It took a whole six years for Zannis, and his team of craftsmen, to convert and transform an old commercial ship hull
(an engine and sail powered "perama", built 1948) into this Art beauty.

The old boat transformed into this now luxury style cruise ship.

Phoebus has totally modern equipment & elements, but has retained many attractive traces of older times.
A real work of art offering sophisticated facilities able to satisfy even the most demanding travelers.

Passengers enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime cruise experience surrounded by lovely vibrant colors, and a variety of materials and forms both familiar yet unexpected;
all worked to perfection by Zannis' subtle artistic imagination.

Phoebus is one of its kind in Greece.
The ship bears the name of Phoebus (or Apollo) - the ancient god of sun, art, poetry, harmony, and freedom of spirit -
because it is itself an original art work uniting all these ideas.

Cruises and Expedition: Now that so much has already been explored, most voyages, especially short ones, have turned into mere routine, and boats have often become a soulless means of transport, lacking both beauty and atmosphere. However, a Phoebus cruise among the islands is once more a dreamlike adventure that brings a traveler's senses to life.
