- Mykonos town - (central) = Chora (also spelled Hora) : with it's interesting & charming architecture & historical buildings, museums,
the largest choice of restaurants & shops, and the convenient smaller type hotels right in the center or some exclusive stylish hotels.
                                                   
- around town, outskirts; max.15 min. walk (hillside): many good hotels and lodgings with view overlooking Hora and till the Aegean. in Despotico, Skoli Kalon Technon, Tagu, Megali Ammos beach,

- beach areas 3,4 or 5 km away from town, very regular bus to: Platys Gialos, Ornos, Agios Ioannis, Psarou, Paranga,
 Agios Stefanos, Tourlos, Paradise, + villa area of Kanalia & Cavo Delos (no bus here)

- further out and more isolated beaches, (buses every hour..) Elia, Kalafati, Kalo Livadi, or own transportation recommended
 for Super Paradise, Agios Sostis & Panormos, Houlakia, Agrari & Lia.

- Ano Mera village and areas of more remote countryside, hilltops (own transportation needed)

- the sacred and world famous archaeological UNESCO site of Delos is part of the Mykonian Municipality as well as the nearly deserted Rhenia island perfect for a day trip of snorkeling and beach barbecue.
