========================================================================== Mykonos Island is readier than ever this Summer 2009 ! Many hotels undertook major renovation & refurbishing: Mykonos Grand, Belvedere, Semeli, Mykonos View, + the new La Residence: there are now 15 five star hotels all deluxe properties! Also many of the 34 four star hotels such as Petasos Beach Hotel and Mykonos Grace, are all very high quality & design. Our extensive Villa portfolio now includes 75 villas; many are deluxe and nearly all have private pool. IImportant Island infra-structure work continues: the new main harbour (in Tourlos, 2km north of Mykonos Town), is ready for the 700+ cruises ships that moor at Mykonos; plus the quay for large ferries & speedboats (catamarans) now provides a very large car park... Private yachts and motor boats also have a special anchorage area, where you also find the yachts for Mykonos day trip cruises. The new, very large Marina next to the Town's old port will be completed by 2010. Summer 2008
